I've been avoiding the whole blog thing. I thought I could start new... and just move on. Not as easy as I'd hoped. I’ve been recently contemplating just maybe going another route and opening a new site. But as I sit here, in my couch/bed, looking at life and wondering what happened... I felt I needed to get something off my chest. I HONESTLY FEEL LIKE I HAVE NO ONE TO TALK TO ABOUT THIS. I used to turn to her and tell her everything and anything. Now I turn, and I just bottle it up. So here it is... I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH IT ALL. I think sometimes I'm good, and I wake up and go about my day. Then, something reminds me of it, or someone post pics, and it all comes back. FUCK. It kills me, because I've lost the belief in trust. I honestly feel that I can't trust anyone. Like who really would, if happened to walk into her, really stand up for me and say... YOU DID THE MOST FUCKED UP THING TO HIM... AND IT AINT COOL... SO FUCK YOU... Who? Aside from my family who are obliged to take my side, I had, or have "friends" that I’ve always treated like family. BUT who would, and who would not say anything knowing the torture I’ve gone thru. Within the year I’ve been promoted, making more, working harder, keeping busy, and doing better externally. Internally, no one really understands the slow death I'm living. The Pain is something I wish on no one. I loved you, I love you... I hate you... Leave me the Fuck alone.

A new beginning.
So it's been about 9 months since I last made an appearance on here. It's been a while right? I guess the hiatus was a sign of things changing, the new unfolding. without going too in depth with how my life has changed, and bore you with the conundrums of how I'm moving on, let's explore what's next. People say life starts when the hardest lessons are learnt. Ain't that the shit. I guess you never really know someone till you feel how much hurt they can cause.
Life lessons, how many times have you heard that. Repetitive as shit, life lessons everyday. Well this is an intro to the new new. Bitter, maybe, Wiser, Probably not, foolish, always...
Love you momz...
I'll be around a bit more this time around, promise.
Law 2
Never put too Much Trust in Friends, Learn how to use Enemies
Be wary of friends-they will betray you more quickly, for they are easily aroused to envy. They also become spoiled and tyrannical. But hire a former enemy and he will be more loyal than a friend, because he has more to prove. In fact, you have more to fear from friends than from enemies. If you have no enemies, find a way to make them.

A Sad day
I arrived home this morning after a hard extensive night of partying with a few co workers to celebrate a birthday. Laughter, excitement, inebriation, and enjoyment was all that partook the evening. How that night can change within a few hours. Receiving a call on a Sunday at 10am is not supposed to be a cause for alarm. This call was not the bearer of good news. During our enjoying night/morning out, a close friend and boss, Pawan Kular, who recently moved from Toronto to Calgary a week ago, had a massive heart attack. This morning, he was pronounced deceased at the age of 29.
Pawan as a boss, for me, was nothing far from spectacular. He showed me the ropes as well as encouraged me to follow the I.T. path, and would open every door to get me to that point. Pawan as a friend was even more remarkable. There are no words to state how much he will be missed.
From Myself, and my family, I would like to send out my deepest condolences to the Kular family on the lost of such an extraordinary man. You will so very much be missed.

Proud Filipino... Thank you Pacquiao...
Lupang Hinirang
Official version used since 1956
Bayang magiliw
Perlas ng Silanganan,
Alab ng puso,
Sa dibdib mo'y buhay.
Lupang Hinirang,
Duyan ka ng magiting,
Sa manlulupig,
Di ka pasisiil.
Sa dagat at bundok,
Sa simoy at sa langit mong bughaw,
May dilag ang tula
At awit sa paglayang minamahal.
Ang kislap ng watawat mo'y
Tagumpay na nagniningning,
Ang bituin at araw niya
Kailan pa ma'y di magdidilim.
Lupa ng araw, ng luwalhati't pagsinta,
Buhay ay langit sa piling mo;
Aming ligaya, na pag may mang-aapi
Ang mamatay nang dahil sa iyo.
Article 1
LAS VEGAS-In the long-expected rematch Manny Pacquiao could not humble Mexico’s Marco Antonio Barrera but he proved once again his power too much in winning by unanimous decision on Saturday.
“It was different from the first fight,” said Pacquiao (45-3-2, 34 KOs). “He is a fine boxer.”
A boisterous 10,112 people at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino saw Barrera (63-6, 42 KOs) intent on proving his loss four years ago was an aberration, but he slowed down around the ninth round and the Pacquiao express rolled on for another win.
Unlike the first fight, there were no knockdowns but the anticipation of one kept the crowd on its feet as both Mexican and Filipino fans cheered wildly throughout the 12 rounds.
The fight began slowly and tactically as both fighters measured each other carefully. Pacquiao landed some straight lefts but couldn’t land a solid shot. Barrera concentrated on working body and head combinations but nothing telling landed for two rounds.
In the third round both fighters stepped up the pace as Pacquiao landed a solid right hook while Barrera’s three-punch combination scored. Neither fighter was hurt.
Pacquiao landed some left hands and right hooks, but every time the Filipino bomber connected Barrera rallied back furiously.
Like a firecracker that finally exploded Barrera landed several combinations. Pacquiao responded with some bombs of his own with both fighters firing with abandon in both the fifth and sixth round as the crowd erupted in delirium.
“I trained knowing he had to box me,” said Pacquiao. “I was able to use my own boxing ability.”
A slow-paced seventh round allowed Barrera to re-charge and perhaps Pacquiao too. A four-punch combo by Barrera might have stolen the round for the Mexican.
Around the ninth round Barrera lost steam and allowed Pacquiao to dictate the pace of the fight. From then on the Filipino fighter slowly but tactfully won three of the last four rounds.
“I got caught up during the exchanges,” said Barrera, who was stopped in the 11th round in their first fight in 2003. “It was a mistake. I should have boxed more. I got tired.”
The 11th round saw both exchange furiously again with a collision of heads possibly causing a cut below Barrera’s right eye. During a break Barrera fired a right hand that stunned Pacquiao who wobbled around the ring in pain. Referee Tony Weeks deducted a point from Barrera for hitting on the break.
All three judges scored it for Pacquiao 118-109 twice and 115-112 for Pacquiao.
“This was my last fight,” said Barrera, who has been fighting since age 15. “He’s especially fast and powerful.”
Freddie Roach, who trains Pacquiao, said Barrera’s boxing skills made it difficult to repeat his first knockdown, but he was still able to score enough to win the fight.
“He surprised me that he lasted all 12 rounds,” said Roach of Barrera. “He has a lot of heart and guts.”
Article 2
The Philippines’ national treasure Manny Pacquiao, cheered on by his flag-waving countrymen who packed the Mandalay Bay Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Sunday, score a handsome unanimous twelve round decision over legendary Mexican Marco Antonio Barrera to effectively send the future Hall-of-Famer into retirement.
Judges Jerry Roth and Glenn Trowbridge had Pacquiao winner by a wide 118-109 margin but the third judge, Tom Schreck surprisingly saw it much closer but still had Pacquiao the winner 115-112.
Barrera’s game-plan was clearly put into survival mode from the opening bell and Pacquiao didn’t seem overeager to repeat the humiliating eleventh round demolition he inflicted on Barrera on November 15, 2003. There were those who believed that because he had to reduce three-and-a-half pounds to make the 130 pound limit at the official weigh-in, Pacquiao appeared to have lost some sting in his vaunted punching power.
However, the Filipino southpaw staggered Barrera with a cracking left in the eleventh round after which Barrera clinched and then hit Pacquiao in the break forcing referee Tony Weeks who had earlier cautioned the Mexican for head-butts and a low blow to deduct a point which turned the penultimate round into a 10-8 round for Pacquiao.
Despite Pacquiao’s speed, strength and aggression which was a little bit subdued compared to his trilogy with another Mexican legend Erik “El Terrible” Morales, he failed to overwhelm Barrera who boxed cautiously throughout content to go out with some deal of respect by staying on his feet at the end of the fight.
Songbird Kyla set the tone for the proceedings with a classy rendition of the Philippine National Anthem even as a smiling Pacquiao appeared to have recovered from the irritable mood he was in, on the eve of the weigh-in.
Pacquiao took the opening round but only just with a right hook to the body and then finished the second round with a good left after a furious but brief exchange. Barrera fought back in the third round and then caught Pacquiao with an elbow in the fourth but Pacquiao answered with a couple of solid shots to the head. The fifth round was close as both men once again traded vicious shots in one burst. It was Barrera’s best round at that point.
Pacquiao stormed back in the sixth stanza with a series of vicious combinations before the pace slackened in the seventh as both fighters appeared to be preserving their energy for the second half of the fight.
A good one-two combination by Barrera in round eight drew a flurry of punches from Pacquiao in the ninth. At the end of round ten Pacquiao was seen smiling as celebrated trainer Freddie Roach was giving him instructions in his corner and then launched a typical whirlwind assault in the penultimate round that had Barrera groggy. In the final round Pacquiao, confident of victory, didn’t take any risks and neither did Barrera who didn’t let his hands go despite pleadings from his trainer and brother Jorge who knew his only chance for victory was a knockout.
In a post fight interview Pacquiao said he was “careful of Barrera’s use of his head” even as admitted that the Mexican icon was “still strong and not an easy opponent.” Pacquiao said Barrera “never really hurt me,” but said he respected him.
Vice president Noli de Castro who was at special ringside and was invited into the ring said “we are proud of Pacquiao and we are proud of the Filipinos, the real winners.”
Pacquiao gave no indication of who his next opponent would be saying he only wanted to return to the Philippines and celebrate his victory. At the same time he made it clear that whether he trains in the Philippines as he did for the rematch with Barrera or at the Wild Card Gym of Freddie Roach will depend on who his opponent will be.
Roach himself had a talk with Barrera in the ring after both fighters had embraced and tapped the Mexican affectionately on the head. Roach later praised Barrera for “showing a lot of heart and guts.”
While the Pacquiao-Barrera fight was on, the streets were almost deserted and even though some diehard supporters were disappointed that he didn’t win by a knockout or TKO, Pacquiao proved he was capable of engaging in a slugfest or out-boxing an opponent of the caliber of Barrera.

...Fight Night...
MANNY PACQUIAO Vs. MARCO ANTONIO BARRERA
Saturday, October 6, 2007
On Closed Circuit-Pay Per View
THE BOUT
Superstars Manny Pacquiao and Marco Antonio Barrera will collide in a 12-round super featherweight title fight, Saturday, October 6. Promoted by Golden Boy Promotions and Top Rank, the Pacquiao-Barrera championship rumble will take place at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and broadcast live on HBO Pay-Per-View.
Pacquiao-Barrera is a battle between legendary three-division world champions. Pacquiao (44-3-2, 35 KO's), of General Santos City, The Philippines, defeated Barrera (63-5, 42 KO's), of Mexico City, Mexico, in their exciting first encounter in 2003, claiming the 'Baby Face Assassin's' featherweight title. Pacquiao is considered by many as boxing's pound for pound most exciting fighter.
"Fighting Barrera is a career highlight for me," said Pacquiao. "He has already beaten great world champions like Erik Morales, Naseem Hamed and Johnny Tapia and I know I am going to have to train harder than I ever have before to beat him. But I am fully prepared to sacrifice and do everything necessary to beat him. And I will. It's going to be another great night for fight fans."
"Pacquiao and I have one thing in common and that is this is the fight we have most wanted," said Barrera. "But Pacquiao should have been more careful for what he wished for because he is going to be in the fight of his life. The battle is on and I am going to leave the ring as boxing's new No. 1 pound for pound fighter."
"This fight is what the fans have been asking for and I'm excited that we will be able to deliver this bout between these two all-time great champions," said Oscar de la Hoya, President of Golden Boy Promotions.
"For Manny Pacquiao this is an essential fight so he can demonstrate, once and for all, that he is the king of the division," said Bob Arum, CEO, Top Rank.
"Manny Pacquiao and Marco Antonio Barrera are both legendary fighters and national heroes in their homelands, who continually seek out the biggest challenges," said HBO Pay-Per-View's Mark Taffet. "Boxing fans love these matchups of 'best vs. best' and are in for real treat on October 6."
Dubbed "Republica Enemy No. 1," Pacquiao has blitzed through the best fighters Mexico had to offer since 2003, including Morales (KO 3, TKO 10), Barrera (TKO 11), Oscar Larios (W 12), Emanuel Lucero (TKO 3), Hector Velazquez (TKO 6) and Jorge Solis (KO 8). The only "blemish" was a draw against Juan Manuel Marquez in 2004, where Pacquiao sent Marquez to the canvas three times in the first round.
Pacquiao was named "2006 Fighter of the Year" by the Boxing Writers Association of America and The Ring magazine for his two spectacular knockout victories of Mexican icon and three-division champion Erik Morales and his dominating 12-round unanimous decision over former world champion and current No. 1 contender Oscar Larios. The hard-hitting southpaw has only lost once in his last 21 bouts, a close decision in 2005 to Morales in their first encounter.
Known as "Baby Faced Assassin", Barrera has provided boxing fans with more exciting moments than anyone of his era. In his own world championship trilogy against Erik Morales, fought in three different weight divisions, Barrera proved to be the better man twice. Those fights alone garnered him numerous accolades from The Ring, including "Fight of the Year" (2000, 2004), "Round of the Year" (5th in 2000, 11th in 2004) and "Comeback of the Year" (2004).
Barrera has never avoided a worthy challenge and his resume is a testament to a future Hall of Fame career. He has defeated many of the top fighters in his divisions, including current or former world champions Morales and Naseem Hamed, both undefeated when he faced them. Robbie Peden, Paulie Ayala, Kevin Kelley, Johnny Tapia, Enrique Sanchez, Jesus Salud, Jesse Benavides, Kennedy McKinney, Agapito Sanchez, Franki Toledo, Daniel Jimenez, and Eddie Cook. In a streak that started in December 2000, with the Salud fight and lasted for four years, Marco fought nine current or former world champions in a row.
Barrera made his professional debut in 1989 and won his first world title in 1995, dethroning WBO jr. featherweight champion Daniel Jimenez, the beginning of three separate reigns as that champion. In 2001, he tagged the undefeated IBO featherweight champion Hamed with his only career loss via a dominating unanimous decision. One year later, he added Morales' WBC featherweight title to his trophy case, avenging a previous loss while spoiling Morales' perfect record which had endured nine years and 42 bouts. Barrera would win the rubber match in 2004, while claiming Morales WBC super featherweight championship belt.

Boy you finna get hurt, murked, put him in the dirt...
For sure it's a pride thing... You feel the punches, you duck when he ducks... you dodge, you swing, you hurt if he falls, you jump for joy when he puts the other dude down... Manny Pacquiao, better know as "Pacman the Destroyer", has won the hearts of the filipino people by proving to be one of the greatest fighters to step in the ring.
Pacquiao, Ring Magazines 2006 Boxer of the year, is pound for pound one of the most exciting fighters to watch. This man is so fierce... I've seen Pacman get knocked down, get up, and win the bout TKO...
For the Second time in his career, Pacquiao will be facing Barrera at the MGM grand on October 6, 2007. The first battle was an amazing Pacquiao victory...
So it comes down to the second time around...
So as I sit here, anticipating the weekends event, there are only two outcomes that can take place. One, Pacquiao wins and I go around town, showing off filipino pride.
OR, two, Im hiding out for the next month...
Pac, bring the Light Featherweight World Championship back home...

Follow My Lead, I'll Hold You Down, Put Your Trust In Me...
As you can see, I've been posting a little more often. Things just happen so fast that sometimes, there's no time to look back.
On my mind at the moment:
So it's been almost 2 weeks now since the release of the hyped Kanyeezy and 50 Cent albums.
Sound scan has shown that both albums have had ridiculous numbers. Which is good and bad for the music industry. The Good side: PEOPLE STILL BUY GOOD MUSIC. Even though there is the ability to download everything and anything on the web, PEOPLE will show support for GOOD music. The Bad side: the music industry as a whole is a plummeting fireball, and industry suits don't understand that people will not fall for the bullshit. For decades the record industry has devised a business model that is volume = $$$. The more that's out there, the more $$$ is attained. Consumers have gotten smart to this, and are now learning... Example, who out there really spent their $12.99 on a William Hung album??? The Industry Suits are putting out anything and everything to make a fast buck... There's no more QUALITY is what's coming out. And now that 50 and Yee have released, these old industry suits will think that the market is back on the up swing. THAT IS NOT THE CASE... The reason that 50 and Yee have sold the way they do is because they release QUALITY music!!! Until the industry hits rock bottom, these suits will never learn that as a consumer, we have gotten smarter then expected. As Kanyeezy put it: "Cuz we don't wanna here that weak shit no mo'".
Finally, My opinion on the 50 vs Yeezy, I'm not going to lie, Kanyee's that dude, but this time, the 50 album is a better packaged and produced album... but that's just my opinion....

You got to Remember...
It's been 6 years, but I still remember exactly where I was when the 2 towers got hit.... I was sitting at work, when I got the call, and I closed up the shop to go home and absorb the day’s events...
I have my Brother Angelo and My boy Rich representing Canada, and doing what they do out in Afghanistan! Myself, Angelo, rich and Tommy, we all joined the military together and served under The Black Watch Highland Regiment of Canada. We trained so hard, you would never believe the extent that the military put us thru...
My brother Angelo is running shit out there, letting people know how things are done...
It shocking on how much 9/11 has changed us...
On a side note, I'd like to thank God for Saving My brother Edgar... Last Saturday he got in a pretty bad car accident, where someone cut him off and he had our Durango flip... I’m just thankful that Edgar and Chloe are ok without any major injuries... As for El Durango, it's a write off, but we thank El Durango for the good times...
And as a ritual... as you've notices in previous post, I've been dropping a music video symbolizing my mood at that specific time... And at this time, with all the blessings that God has given us... I want to thank him for the GOODLIFE I have been blessed with...

A little Late, but for a dude that Used to Ride a Billy Ruff G&S, This isn't a CRIME...
I used to Skate down my street, no worries, Ollie here, KickFlip there, grind the curb.... you know, everyday business for me as a Kid... I had 2 other dudes i used to skate with all the time, and at times our skate crew would be about 14-16 deep.
Our daily mission was either building ramps, or going off ramps. My buddy Chris had his dad build a half pipe in his backyard which constituted for quite a few bumps and bruises till my Momz made me wear rectors. Skating was IT. It was fun, it was life, it was a piece of wood, with 4 wheels that we tried to master every trick on. So please explain to me why in the world this is still happening??? Please Read, And Hopefully It will open your eyes and send out your disgust to the proper contacts on the bottom of this page...

Hot Springs, Arkansas: Police Brutality on Go Skateboarding
A police officer in Hot Springs, Arkansas, was photographed actually choking a thirteen-year old boy before arresting him, and several others (which was captured on video), seemingly for... skateboarding.
A video is circulating the likes of MySpace and YouTube wherein several young boys- and one girl- in Hot Springs, Arkansas, decided to celebrate Go Skateboarding Day. While skateboarding downtown, one was arrested- and it appears to be because he was skateboarding.
One youth took a picture of the Officer Joey Williams on top of thirteen year old Jarad Graham, who was facing up, and Williams has his hand around the boy's throat. After handcuffing the child, he chased the person who took the photograph, leaving the child in handcuffs. Williams later comes back, takes the child to speak with him away from his friends, and tells the boy he was in violation of city ordinance and resisting arrest... resisting arrest for what? WHY was he arrested in the first place?
When his friends come to listen, Officer Williams tells them all to go away, and that they're all in violation of city ordinance as well. He then proceeds to arrest several more people, taking the video camera and setting it on the sidewalk.
The video can be viewed and dowloaded here:
indybay.org/newsitems/2007/06/25/18430619.php
I was able to reach the mayor, Mr. Mike Bush, for comment just moments ago, and was told that directly after the incident, the officer in the video was placed on administrative leave (with full pay). They are currently in the process of investigating the incident, speaking with more than 40 witnesses including bystanders and downtown merchants in the area.
"Until the investigation is complete," he told me, "we're unable to make any conclusions about what happened." When I asked him about the video, he told me he had seen it. "It's awful," Bush said. "It looks just terrible."
Remember, folks. SKATEBOARDING IS NOT A CRIME.
